Research carried out in November 2021 by the Institute of Travel Management (ITM) highlights the return to travel as the biggest priority, followed by a raft of other priorities, including duty of care, traveller wellbeing and sustainable practice.
The pressures for Travel Management companies to perform well and provide the best services they’ve ever provided and yet in a climate where only 28% of respondents to the ITM survey said they are expecting travel to return to pre-pandemic levels, poses pressure. And that corporate travel buyers are only expecting to allocate a quarter of budgets to those meetings which are internal serves to increase that pressure.
